Slope

Privacy

Your rounds, your shots and your bag stay on your phone and in your own iCloud. Slope has no accounts and no ad tracking.

What stays on your device

Rounds, scores, logged shots, club carries, calibration taps, game plans and twin results are stored on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud storage that only you can read. We can't see them.

What leaves your device

Two features use a server: showing the caddie your lie (photos or video frames you choose to send) and the caddie's written advice, round reviews and plans (a text description of the situation: yards, wind, your clubs' carries, the hole's trouble, and for reviews your scorecard). These are sent to our server, which passes them to an AI model to produce the read or the text. The images and text are used only to answer that request. They are not used to train models and are not kept after the answer is produced, beyond short-lived operational logs that contain no images.

Location

Slope uses your location on the course to measure distances. Location is used on the device and is not sent to us.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We receive no payment details.

Course corrections

If you fix a green or hazard on a course map, that correction (the course, hole and shape, nothing about you) may be shared through iCloud so other golfers get the better map.
